About the Attorneys

Charles E. Howard received both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of South Carolina. Joseph G. "Skip" Francis, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and his law degree from the University of Georgia.

Both Skip and Charlie are Greenville natives, with large extended families in the upstate. They returned home after law school and have practiced law in Greenville and the upstate for their entire careers. Skip and Charlie were privileged to practice for many years with the firm's founder, Ernest J. Howard, and T. Preston Reid, both well known and highly respected trial lawyers, prior to their deaths. Charlie and Skip have practiced before the circuit courts of South Carolina, the appellate courts, the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission, and the Social Security Administration.

Charlie and Skip are dedicated to responding courteously and efficiently to the needs and concerns of their clients, and to providing a relaxed and comforting atmosphere for consultation.
